JP Webster Construction Ltd was started in 1987, by current owner John Webster, having gained experience in the industry with local contractors since 1973. The family run business is based just outside Cambridge.

Despite the economic recession of the late 1980’s the company grew from strength-to-strength into the 1990’s, becoming one of the larger civil engineering contractors in Cambridge. This was partly due to the successful tendering for works with the local authority, Cambridge City Council, a contract held for over 20 years.

Our growing reputation and quality of works enabled us to be successful in securing further contracts and developing strong working relationships with numerous local and national contractors, the Cambridge universities and colleges, councils, football clubs, developers and house builders.

Despite the economic downturn in recent years the business continues to develop and improve processes, conduct ourselves in an ethical manner, keeping to honest business practice and morals to offer the best deal and service possible for our customers, old and new.
